Vacation Time

I just got back from Niagra Falls. Had a great time with my buddy Laura. I realized while we were up there that it had been about 6 years snce the 2 of us had gone together. I wasn't even sure we were going to make it. Laura got sick and started running a fever on Monday night and ended up in emerg. What a trooper all night in the hospital and she was ready to go when I picked her up in our rental car. Considering I had gone with her to emerg until 6:00am and then my dad woke me up to go run an errand with him and I only had about 3 1/2 hours sleep the drive to Niagra was LOOOONNNGGG. We ended up getting a cherry red PT Cruiser Convertible. What a fun car!!! While we were in Niagra Falls we went on the Sky Wheel ...the biggest ferris wheel I have ever seen. We drove by the falls, went to the outlet mall, and then we went to the casino where I lost $60.00 and Laura won $60.00. I guess between the 2 of us we broke even.

Got home around noon went to drop off the rental car and have been painting my parents place. Those of you who know me know how much I hate painting. I should make 'em pay for a manicure cause my nails are wrecked.

Ever been in a room full of people......

yet still feel completely alone???? I have to admit I have that feeling alot. Like my presence doesn't really matter one way or the other. Like I am there but no one really notices. I'm there but not really part of the group or discussion. Like if I wasn't there the party would still happen, people would still do their banking, people would still do their thing. I guess I feel like I don't leave an impact or impression on peoples lives. I am not sure why I feel this way. I have been feeling like lately I have been going through the motions but not really being in the moment...I need to be in the moment just need to be so overtaken by emotions that I don't care about anything, anyone or anywhere else.

Long Overdue

So it looks like I am really going to Niagra Falls July 25-26 with my good buddy Laura. We used to go all the time but haven't been in years so it is long overdue and man am I excited. We always have a good time when we go...ok not so much the time our hotel rooms were broken into but still we survived. I really need to get away work is getting to me, home is getting to me, life in general is getting to me.

This weekend should be good my folks are going away for the weekend up to my aunts farm so I won't have to deal with them although I'm sure I'll get several calls to make sure I am taking care of the dog.

Who loves a long weekend more than I do??? So much so I took Tuesday off as well. Had a really good time last night at the groundhog. Peppy was being his sarcastic self which I love. People were doing canadian artist songs. Then DJ Spiderman and his crew showed up and things just got outta control...That group is soo much fun. Dancing, singing (even DJ Spiderman himself sang a song...i'm not going to say it was beautiful but it brought a tear to my eye lol) Good times
