Where oh where did the summer go?????

I can't believe we are alreay well into the Labor Day long weekend aka the unofficial end of summer. It seem like just the othe rday the whole summer was laid out infornt of me to do with as I choose. I have had a really good time this summer so I thought I would take a moment to remember some of the highlights.

Going to Buffalo with Norm and Sharon. Boy was shopping fun. I still don't have any buyers remorse for anything I bought and can't wait to go back. Even the 3 hour wait was a good time.

Going on the BMO Boat Cruise. I was born and raised in Toronto but had never been on a harbor cruise. Great music, great friends, great drinks = great time. While I am on the subject of BMO getting third place in the annual BMO Idol contest. I will never forget being up there singing and seeing my whole team there with signs to encourage me ....we definately won the team spirtit award and who would have ever thought the girl who used to hold up the wall while singing would ever come out of her shell like that. The Water melon carving contest and winning that free pizza for the team and bragging rights sooooo fun.

Music....Aretha Frankinwas great but Beyonce was the best concert I have ever been to. Such a great night.

Reconnecting with someone from the past and having him make wrongs from the past right. Finally ocassionly feeling like a priority and getting a shout out on the radio was kindda cool.

• feeling happier more days than not
• inside jokes
• gas station coffee and slurpee's
• meeting new friends
• summer BBQ's
• dancing either at a party or alone in my room
• last minute dinner parties
• the pina colada passout
• going down to lakeshore with someone who is usually very quite and talking for hours
• taking pictures in high park
• Wonderland ....even getting stuck on the rollercoaster
• McFlurries
• Madea goes to jail....funniest movie I have seen in a long time
